Kougaku Racing Solid Aluminum
Subframe Bushings Kit
Our subframe bushings replace the soft rubber bushings used
in stock S13s and S14s to connect the rear subframe to the
rest of the car. The rear subframe supports the entire rear
suspension, so all the force that is exerted on the suspension
is also exerted on the subframe. Rubber bushings have alot of
flex in them and this can contribute to wheel hop, and an overall
loose feeling rear end. Worn rubber bushings are a major
cause of wheel hop.
While these bushings will give a much more solid feel to the
car, they will also increase road noise, especially for those with
a clutch type LSD. Not recommended for street cars unless
you consider yourself "hardcore".

Kougaku Racing Subframe Collars Kit
Our subframe collars utilize the stock rubber subframe bushings, but create a more solid interface. The collars go on top and bottom of the OE bushings. The install is very simple and fast, unlike the solid subframe bushings, which can have a very time consuming installation. They will reduce or eliminate wheel hop, and give a much more solid feeling to the car. While these collars will improve over stock, they are not as solid feeling as the full replacement bushings. For this reason, they are much better for daily driving use. Road noise will still increase slightly, but not drastically.

Kougaku Racing SR20DET Oversized Water Pump Pulley
There must have been a party the night before Nissan engineers designed the SR waterpump, because they really screwed up. During high RPM's, the water pump spins too fast, which creates cavatation, which means the coolant drops pressure to the point where it turns into a gas. This cavatation creates poor water circulation and is one of the leading problems to SR20's overheating. Our pulley is 8% larger than the factory pulley, which allows the water pump to spin slower at high RPM's reducing or eliminating cavatation. Idle temperatures slightly increase, but track days will be much more enjoyable.

Kougaku Racing Steering Spacers
These are 10mm Chromoly steering spacers. Place these where the inner tie rod threads to the steering rack and it will increase steering angle to aid in higher angle drifts.
Not recommended for circuit setups as bump steer is slightly increased.
